We had a crazy weekend full of highs and lows! We celebrated Mother's Day at school on Friday at Muffins with Mom.
Jill came over Friday after work and we hung out with Matt and Ava for a bit before going to see Nelly at Hammond Stadium. We had a blast!
Saturday was Ava's dance recital. This year she has been taking a Tap, Ballet, Jazz combo class so got to do 3 dances in the recital. She was super brave and did amazing!
Matt and Ava even did a daddy/daughter dance. They are the sweetest :)
Early Sunday morning Ava came to our room and told me she had thrown up. She must have caught a stomach bug at the recital because she was sick all day on Sunday. She gave me a necklace and picture she made me at school, some earrings and flowers from her and Matt, and we cuddled/napped all day long. Poor girl.
This is how we both feel after school lately...
Just a few more weeks of school and we are on summer break. We can do it!
