We left Christmas day to go visit the Alcorn family in Tennessee! Ava had a really rough time in the car, lots of crying and no interest in playing games or watching videos. We stopped in Atlanta on our way up and arrived just in time for a much needed cocktail and snacks from the manager's reception!
We finished the drive the next morning and Rylee and Holland were waiting for us at the end of their drive!! We were all so excited to finally be together!!
The girls opened presents right away and we had so much fun hanging out with the Alcorns for a few days! We played at the house, got to see their chickens and eggs, and went to Chuck-E-Cheese!
We stopped in Atlanta again on the way home and went to the Georgia Aquarium the next morning before leaving! I had been before, but Matt and Ava hadn't and they LOVED it!
One of our first stops was the penguins. Ava was too scared to go in the tunnel so Matt went and tried to convince her to come in :) She didn't want to.
We had so much fun walking around the rest of the aquarium and saw a dolphin show!
Ava went through a tunnel in a different section and realized it wasn't so bad so asked to head back to the penguins! Here is my view of them in the tunnel!

We got home around 10:30 pm and Ava played with her dollhouse from Santa while Matt and I brought in the luggage and then we were all ready for bed!
What a fun Christmas vacation! Ava is still talking about the aquarium and visiting her sister Holland. Thank you Rylee and family!
