Birthday Weekend Pictures!

Ava had a great birthday weekend!

Thursday night she opened presents.

She got this hat at school :)

Grandpa Knapp got Ava a card with some money!

Aunt Rylee got Ava lots of board books!

Grandma Lo got Ava a puzzle, a vacuum, a stroller for Raquel, and a dollar for her new piggy bank from Uncle Larry and Aunt Pam!

After presents, we had some birthday cake!

After cake it was bath and pajama time!

On Friday we took Ava to the Florida Aquarium in Tampa!

We also went there over Christmas break, and it was so fun to revisit the same place with Ava and see the changes in her growth! She was now able to stand at many of the tanks and wanted to "walk" with us everywhere!

Finally, on Sunday, we went to Build-A-Bear Workshop and Ava got to make her first teddy bear :)

Happy Birthday Ava!

Oh my goodness, how did that happen?!?

Ava Lee is ONE!

I barely remember life before Ava (but I think it involved lots of beer and sand)!

Our lives have changed so much, but our little punkin is so special and we love her more than anything!

We are excited to celebrate her birthday with cake tonight, and a trip back to the Aquarium Friday!

I am so happy to be this beautiful baby girl's mom and could type every cliche' in the book - but they are all true!

Happy Birthday Matt!

Happy Birthday to the greatest husband and dad ever!!!

We are so thankful for you!

Matt has been making plans for the kitchen to include some draft beer for a while now, so that was his birthday present this year! He may post about the process soon :)
