Florida Aquarium

The day after Christmas we went to the aquarium in Tampa for a few days!

Matt had purchased our tickets beforehand, and a gift bag with a stuffed otter was waiting for Ava at guest services :) What a great dad!

Ava got to play in the playground area for a bit after lunch!

Our hotel was on the Riverwalk, so one evening we went for a nice long walk, one of our favorite things to do!

Ava kicked back and relaxed :)

And Brady was happy to get out of the hotel room!

We got an annual pass to the aquarium - so we will be back :)

We just got back from the aquarium this morning and I haven't gone through all the pictures yet, but Matt took this video of an otter doing backflips that I thought I would share! We had a great time....pictures to come!

Merry Christmas!

Ava got to play the keyboard this Christmas for the first time! We have a video that I will post soon :)

Friday - Christmas Eve!

We had beautiful weather over the holiday!

Santa brought Ava this comfy chair, some toy balls,

and a toy gumball machine!

Grandma Lo got Ava her first Cabbage Patch Kid! I loved my Cabbage Patch Kid and am so happy that Ava has one now also! Her name is Raquel and

Ava is a great mom to her :)

Christmas day we went to the park for a bit. Ava LOVES the swings and got to try the tunnel for the first time!

Overall, it has been a pretty relaxing few days. We miss being with our family so much, but with an ear infection (Ava) and the flu (Matt and I both different days), we are thankful we weren't traveling!

Aunt Rylee got Ava the Leap Frog table!! She loves it (and crawled under it to kiss her gumball machine).

Nine Months!

Ava's 9 month birthday was on Friday! Unfortunately, we spent part of it at the doctor finding out she has her first (and hopefully last) ear infection. Our poor baby has been sniffly and uncomfortable for a few days, but we think today she is starting to feel a little better!

I did this month's pictures by myself. Between her not feeling well and me trying to set her up and run to the camera, I had a hard time getting some good ones.

As a result, most of the pictures turned out like this..... :)
