Ava went back to school this week! She was so excited to see her friends and get back to a routine. She is loving the new Babysitters Club graphic novels and will start working on multiplication soon! She is back at the dance studio 4 nights a week and we are happy to be somewhat back to "normal". I can't believe she is in third grade! We are ready for a great year :)

House Updates
While we were in Indiana we had some work done to our house! Matt and I have wanted new floors for a few years and after 2 years of seriously talking about it/planning for it we were finally able to make it happen this Summer! We went with a large tile throughout the whole house and then chose basic subway tile for the shower walls with a hexagon marble for the shower floors. Our vanities were directly across from each other in the master bath before the renovation. Matt had the idea to flip mine to the other wall so we could make our shower larger without losing the space for a tub. We love not bumping our elbows on the shower wall now when we shower and comment every time we shower about how thankful we are!
We love how it looks with one tile consistently throughout the entire house and have noticed that the house stays much cooler now!
The guest bathroom was done using the same tile materials as the master bathroom but we chose gold hardware. Ava loves it!

Indiana Summer Trip
Ava and I spent the entire month of July in Indiana this Summer! Matt joined us for 2 weeks and we loved the extra time with family - especially after being home so long during quarantine. Rylee and fam came for a week and it was so sweet to have all the cousins together.

Parasailing
My brave girl wanted to go parasailing with her daddy yesterday while we were at the beach! Unfortunately, the camera on the boat had a corrupted SD card so we weren't able to purchase the pictures after their ride but I took a few from the beach. Best Day Ever!!

Tiny Home Vacation!
We went to Orlando for 3 nights and stayed at Orlando Lakefront Tiny Homes. We had so much fun with friends and loved the lake activities. We were only 3 hours way but it felt like we were on a lake in the Midwest. We were pretty much unplugged and loved the time outside. Each family cooked dinner a different night and Matt made us all delicious Hoosier Tenderloins on our night. The pups were great and loved the extra attention. Ava was super brave and danced for everyone and even met a friend from Indiana to play with for a few days. We are so thankful for the chance to laugh with friends and relax as a family.
